This is a private self-built website. It is not based on a commercial blogging service that might collect information about you. The server is located in the EU to take advantage of the EU’s “best in class” privacy laws . The site use services provided by Automatic.com and Mail Chimp, both located in the USA.

Comments
If you comment on a post you can agree to have a cookie stored. The cookie will save you entering your name and email address every time you comment. The cookie is stored on your computer for a year but you can delete it using your web browser. You can comment without using a cookie.
Comments are checked for spam using a service provided by Automattic/Akismet. In summary, Akismet stores the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
